ZACHARY KURTZ

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Zachary (Zac) moved to Japan at the age of 18 and has been here ever since. Hiking extensively across all 47 Prefectures led him to Hokkaido, where he has lived for the last 5 years. He currently resides in Asahikawa with his wife and son, but finds himself guiding groups across all corners of Japan, from Hokkaido's National Parks to the Kii Mountains in Kansai and bustling streets of Japan's major cities.
